Thanks to our friends over at Fairfield County Child, the Bug and I got to treat Aunt Katy and cousin Lily to a rock concert today - the Swingset Mamas were playing here in Stamford. What a fun show! The band is fronted by two women who sing an eclectic mix of songs - reggae to rock to calypso - for which the preschool set goes totally bonkers. It was a sold-out show, and from the first note the kids were totally rocking the house - they even had their own mini mosh-less pit down in front of the stage! The Bug was in awe, and barely stopped dancing during the entire show!

that is totally awesome!!! I hope you were teaching the bug some of your and her aunt's great moves!!!!
She's a couple steps ahead already... you should see some of her moves! Perhaps we can coax you up for Gathering of the Vibes this year to see for yourself! :)
yeah so glad you had fun! we have their cd's on heavy rotation in our car and i have yet to get sick of it.
When is gathering? We would love to see the Bug get down!
we want to go to gathering this year. oliver has a tie dye onesie that will fit him perfectly this summer and i've been looking forward to listening to live music outside with him since he was born!
