My twelfth year saw a number of trends collide, with some less-than fortunate results. Perms. Giant bows in the back of the hair. Puffy heart necklaces. Braces. Brightly colored, blocky patterned sweaters. Upturned collars. And teased bangs. Why, oh why, did anyone ever think teased bangs were a good idea?

Cute picture ; ) I too thought teased bangs and perms were cool, lol. Living in Illinois the trend didn't hit until high school though. Mine appeared to be teased up higher than our Christmas tree in one pic. Scary, I know!

no way is that you. ok, the more i look at it, it can be you..i was just as left of cool as you. i bet you didn't have the matching leg warmers for the crazy block sweater like i did!!
